I was thinking about adding another 1050Ti to my machine to up my folding a bit.  The one I have is a 4GB FTW that I have OC'd to 1949mHz.  How will a 2GB card that might not OC as well compare for the purposes of folding?  I see that I can get a used one off fleabay for less than $50.  I don't want to spend a pile of money.  Naturally my post count won't allow me into the classifieds here just yet.

thanks,
Ian

Edit... changed my 550ti typo to the correct 1050Ti.

RAM is not the issue with Folding, a 2 GB card is fine

Thanks... got one on the way for $34 from a tech recycler that said it tested good.  Hopefully I won't be out $34.

550Ti might only get you 20k ppd though :/.

Every bit helps though, but you're going to use a lot of power.

I had to go back and look at what I ordered.  I'm getting my Ti's and my chainsaws all screwed up apparently.  My chainsaw is 550xp.  My video card is a 1050.  Bah.  If I had ordered a 550 chainsaw it would have been a heck of a chainsaw.  As it is, what I ordered can go directly into the garbage as I come back from the mailbox.
