If anyone is still interested, I came across a relatively new chipset driver.
 
Version: 10.1.17479.8054 (Latest) Date: 2/13/2018

A noted change was the versioning.  I have been running it for sometime, and no issues noted.  My USB ports seem to be more responsive.
