Since I applied the latest mega Windows 10 feature update version 1803 I get an error most of the time when I start Fallout 4 if Evga Precision is running. If it doesn't work I have to exit Evga Precision for Fallout 4 to work and it may or may not work with Precision running after a reboot. Originally I had 6.2.6 and now the same thing happens with 6.2.7. I have the latest Nvidia drivers 397.64 dated 05/09/2018.

Application popup: Fallout4.exe - Entry Point Not Found : The procedure entry point D3D11On12CreateDevice could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Program Files (x86)\EVGA\Precision XOC\PXSHW10_x64.dll.

OSD is not enabled. I basically just have the profile loading on windows boot so having to exit Precision doesn't make that much of a difference but it's still an annoyance.

The popup repeatedly appears until I manage to alt-F4 or otherwise escape out of Fallout 4 trying to run and quit Precision. I don't see 10 other threads about this so presumably it isn't a widespread issue. Does anyone know anything about this problem?

Uninstall Precision XOC and restart your PC..Then delete the leftover Precision XOC and LED Sync folders located in the Program Files (x86)\EVGA folder..Then install Precision XOC again.

That's a clean uninstall/install of Precision XOC..Roll from there.

Unfortunately, doing the clean install didn't stop the errors. I'll just close XOC when gaming for the time being and try again periodically after Nvidia updates their drivers. Thanks for the suggestion.

If you have a 2D and/or 3D Profile set in the Profile tab of Precision's settings, change them to "Not assigned" then click OK and then close and open Precision again.

You can try running DDU in Safe Mode to uninstall the Graphics Driver..Then do a Custom (Advanced) install choosing only to install PhysX along with the Graphics Driver.

Do a forum search for "D3D11On12CreateDevice could not be located in the dynamic link library" and "Entry Point Not Found" and you'll get some hits.

That's about all I can tell you..Good luck.

Hmm. What happens if you add fallout4.exe to precision xoc's osd exception list?

That seems to have worked for me, thanks. I don't actually have OSD enabled but it still works. To save the setting I had to enable OSD, add fallout4.exe to the list of programs, close XOC completely, start XOC again, and then disable OSD again. If I just edited the list and immediately disabled OSD it didn't save my entry.
