Ok just installed and launched for the first time ( Did complete removal of previous version 6.2.3).
First thing I did was to enable automatic fan control, and selected aggressive.

Now the GPU fan spins up properly ( along with Power fan), but the Memory fan now does not spin up at all . Have to select the Memory fan and apply to get it to work properly.
Fan behavior on PXOC startup much better now.

Edit: After initially selecting the memory fan where it was not selected, it appears to be sticking now - even after rebooting the PC and launching PXOC again, all three fans behaving as expected now. Apparently was just the first time I initially launched 6.2.6.1 that Memory fan was not selected by default.
Will keep a watch on it and advise if it happens again.

I'll see what I can do.
I normally test for a job, but I like EVGA and try to help out a little.

Update: Here is the feedback for Precision XOC 6.2.6.1 BETA:

Please note that I uninstall the previous version completely and do a clean install.
LEDSync is not uninstalled automatically with Precision XOC, so this will be overwritten.

Even though many will overwrite their old installation, when issues occur they are often advised a clean installation.
This is why I test using a clean installation of Precision to make sure the bugs do not come from old configuration files.

Some important things I'd like to point out first:
    1. [6.2.4][Hardware monitor] Buttons GPU1, System and others are not displayed when Precision XOC is minimized OR clicking inside Hardware monitor window while Precision XOC is open.
      More info: https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2811618
      • I have found the root cause to this issue.
It appears enabling 'Start with OS' stops the buttons from being properly viewed.
    2. The releasenotes of 6.2.5.1 BETA stated the following:
Splash Screen will be disabled if "Start Minimized" is selected
      • I may have improperly tested this before, but it doesn't work as expected with atleast 6.2.6.1 BETA.
It only works ticking the box 'Start with OS'. (with 'Start minimized' enabled or disabled)
        • New issue created: [6.2.6.1 BETA] Splash screen does not disable using the setting 'Start minimized'.
        • Update: 'Start minimized' doesn't seem to function at all, the program launches into the foreground regardless it being enabled or disabled, it only starts minimized with 'Start with OS'.
          • New issue created: [6.2.6.1 BETA] Start minimized is not functioning.
    3. [6.2.5.2 BETA][LEDSync 1.0.9] Disabling backplate entry in LEDSync of the same videocard does not revert back to original Appearance LED setting.
      • I need to clarify this a bit more later, it seems the issue isn't as simple as described here.
Because changing LEDSync colour settings sometimes are not or sometimes are overwritten to Appearance LED for both entries, like as if changing only one or two entries in LEDSync affects this.
It may also behave differently for example between using 'Static ON' or 'Follow badge colour' for backplate.
        • Update: I did some more testing with LEDSync and Appearance LED. For more information check the bottom of this post.
        • I'd recommend LEDSync not to interfere with Appearance LED saved settings, and when an entry is disabled in LEDSync to properly fallback to Appearance LED settings.
    4. [6.2.6.1 BETA][iCX] Power and Memory fans control are inverted.
      • @EVGA can you tell if it is expected that 1080Ti FTW3 fans should be running in this order:
        • Left to right (left = bracket I/O): GPU -> Power -> Memory. (GPM like Thermal LED order)
        • Current operation: GPU -> Memory -> Power.

    Feedback on releasenotes:
    1. Fixes Power and Memory fan increased fanspeeds whens starting Precision XOC or switching skins.
      • Working properly on 1080Ti FTW3.
    2. Fixes GPU fan not following software fan curve when starting Precision XOC or switching skins.
      • Working properly on 1080Ti FTW3.
Even though it takes Power and Memory fans 1-2 seconds longer to kick into action when a fan curve profile is active that does not permit 0RPM mode, the essential problems have been resolved.

    New issues:
    1. [6.2.6.1 BETA][iCX][Thermal LED] Inconsistency between Precision XOC LED temperature display and hardware Thermal LED display.
      Example with 1080Ti FTW3: GPU#1 = 28°C and GPU#2 = 32°C -> GPU Thermal LED green threshold = 30°C
      Result:
Hardware GPU LED displays blue instead of green.
Software displays colours only based on currently displayed sensor in main window.
NOTE: On 1080Ti FTW3 only these sensors are used for Hardware Thermal LED: GPU#1 / Power#4 / Memory#3
NOTE 2: Issue has likely been existing since the earliest versions of Precision XOC. (which support iCX)
    2. [6.2.6.1 BETA] Splash screen does not disable using the setting 'Start minimized'.
Explanation: It currently only works ticking the box 'Start with OS'. (with 'Start minimized' enabled or disabled)
    3. [6.2.6.1 BETA][iCX] Power and Memory fans control are inverted.
Explanation: Power slider controls Memory fan, Memory slider controls Power fan.
Note: Issue affects EVGA 1080Ti FTW3, may affect other iCX equipped videocards.
    4. [6.2.6.1 BETA] Start minimized is not functioning.
Explanation: Program starts into the foreground regardless if it's enabled or disabled. The option 'Start with OS' alone will make it start minimized.
    5. [6.2.6.1 BETA][LEDSync 1.0.9] LEDSync will crash abnormally using 'End task' in taskmanager.
Explanation: If the LEDSync window is attempted to be closed using 'End task' in taskmanager, Windows will say the program no longer responds.
Result: LEDSync is unable to be opened via Precision XOC even after restarting Precision XOC. LEDSync button stays lit.
Workaround: Launch LEDSync.exe manually from C:\Program Files (x86)\EVGA\LED Sync
    6. [6.2.6][iCX][Thermal LED] Thermal LEDs on hardware do not update according to software settings until settings is opened once.
Note: Issue has been found in 6.2.6 by user Kdsamreuang26 and is actual in Precision XOC 6.2.6.1 BETA.
    7. [6.2.6][iCX][Thermal LED] Thermal LEDs on hardware do not update after closing Precision XOC.
Explanation: It is expected that Thermal LEDs on hardware update based on firmware thresholds if no software is active to control the Thermal LEDs.
This does not happen, by default green = 60°C in Precision XOC, this is likely the firmware default threshold.
But if a person has set a lower threshold, e.g 50°C in Precision XOC and the sensors turn green, if Precision XOC is closed afterwards the sensors stick to green despite being below 60°C.
Even if the temperature drops below 50°C the Thermal LEDs stick to displaying green.
Note: Issue has been found in 6.2.6 by user Kdsamreuang26 and is actual in Precision XOC 6.2.6.1 BETA.

    Fixed issues:
    1. [6.2.5.2 BETA][iCX] Power and/or Memory fan ramp up to 50% or 100% fan speed when starting Precision XOC or switching from skin.
      More info: https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2814947
    2. [6.2.5.2 BETA] GPU fan does not follow software fan curve when starting Precision XOC or switching skin.
      More info: https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2814947
    3. [6.2.5.2 BETA] Clicking on "Curve" button shows 'Enable Automatic Fan Control' as enabled even if it's disabled.
      More info: https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2814947

    Not yet fixed issues:
    1. [6.1.8][OSD] PNG screenshot capture with Precision XOC shows image corruptions.
      More info: https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2705146
    2. [6.1.2][Appearance LED] Breathing mode for backplate LED 1080Ti FTW3.
      • Not fixed in releasenote of 6.2.5.2 BETA.
    3. [6.2.4][OSD Settings][Skin] Not able to set individual system tray colours for each sensor in default skin.
Workaround: Set tray colour settings in Kingpin skin OSD settings.
    4. [6.2.4][OSD Settings][Skin] Not able to set minimum/maximum values for each sensor in default skin.
This makes "Play alarm sound when value is out of range" useless.
Workaround: Set minimum/maximum values in Kingpin skin OSD settings.
    5. [6.2.4][OSD Settings][Skin] Not able to set alarms individually for each sensor in default skin.
This may be useful to ignore some buggy reportings such as framerate.
Workaround: Set alarms individually in Kingpin skin OSD settings.
    6. [6.2.4][Hardware monitor] Buttons GPU1, System and others are not displayed when Precision XOC is minimized OR clicking inside Hardware monitor window while Precision XOC is open.
      More info: https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2811618
      • Root cause has been found: Enabling 'Start with OS' affects this functionality.
    7. [6.2.4][OSD] Games crash when Precision XOC is exited when OSD is (or has been) enabled in a game.
More info: https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2811618 (see edit of post)
NOTE: Issue may have existed for much longer.

    10. [6.2.6][Sensor] Sensors stop displaying after pressing L-ALT button.
      More info: https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2816102

Feedback required whether this is intended or not:
    1. [6.2.4][iCX] EVGA 1080Ti FTW3 Power/Memory sensors not tracked by default in hardware monitor.
      More info: https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2811618
    2. [6.2.4][Skin] Kingpin skin is not updated to include or change the following:
      • Disabling the < > arrows at GPU/Precision Logo location.
      • OC Scan button is missing on Kingpin skin. (instead accessible via < > buttons)
      • Kingpin skin settings do not contain "OSD" and "Monitoring" tabs. (instead uses old OSD settings menu)
      • More info: https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2811618
    3. [6.2.4][Hardware monitor] Having a small width window open causes overlapping issues with sensor title texts and information:
      More info: https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2811618
    4. [6.2.4] Show FCAT overlay not functioning in every game.

Re: EVGA Precision XOC 6.2.6.1 BETA 2018/05/05 07:53:29 (permalink)
Not sure if this would be a bug or not in 6.2.6.1 Beta, but thought I should mention it:

Upon starting PXOC for the first time after booting up the PC, the GPU fan shows it is already spinning close to 50%. The Power and Memory fans do not show spinning for a few moments as is normal, then they activate and move up to about the same.
Have not seen PXOC start up with a fan already running immediately like that.

Not causing any issue obviously, but thought might be worth mentioning.

I have been used to previously all three fans not showing spinning for a few moments then all three move up to about 50%.

Re: EVGA Precision XOC 6.2.6.1 BETA 2018/05/05 08:20:12 (permalink)
Just tried out this beta version, and the only issue I have is each time i run a game, Precision XOC closes out of the tray after quitting the game. Fans continue to run, task manager shows PrecisionX Server and PrecisionX Server (32 bit) but not Precision XOC until i restart the program.

Edit: Just watching Precision XOC for a couple minutes results in it closing out of the tray. Task manager shows same as above.

I've given up on this software. Even 6.2.3 doesn't work anymore on 1803 Win 10. I'll check back when this gets fixed.

I am amazed at the effort Critical Hit puts into his review, posts. Thank you!! I suspect you put more time in testing and writing up new versions than the engineers themselves!!
    Cheers!

I do not have this issue on Windows 7, is this on Windows 10 perhaps? And which build? e.g 1803.

This thing still doesn't boot on launch (I can just stick in the Startup group, but still that speaks of shoddy coding), and the splash screen I dislike so much is back.

Enable 'Start With OS' in the General Settings tab..Then manually close Precision..Should be fine after that.

The splash screen shows only when Precision it not set to 'Start Minimized'..Enabling 'Start Minimized' and the splash screen should not appear.

After making any changes in Precision settings or OSD settings and clicking OK (where applicable), manually close Precision or the changes normally won't stick and be applied the next time Precision runs.

Windows 10 Pro seems to have the most issues with Precision, for some reason.
