I recently got the EVGA DG-75 case and my motherboard sticks out to far to fit the EVGA 280 radiator on top. I was wondering if anyone has hooked up a 240 radiator to the top, especially the EVGA 240 one.

Thank you for your time and have a nice day!

The youtube video shows them mounting a 280 in the front and reversing the fans...what MOBO do you have?

    EVGA Z270 Classified K
I have the 280 one and it is mounted in the front. My gripe is that even with a push/pull config. My PC is still running hotter than I want. So I am hoping the 240 will give me enough clearance that I can mount it on the top. Going to just order it from amazon and hope for the best. Wish me luck lol.

    Thank you for the reply.

Well, ended up buying the 240 rad and it still will not fit.

I currently have a 360mm rad in the front and a 240mm on the top. The 240mm does fit, barely. The way I have mounted it, however, is not the most ideal. If my motherboard vrm cooler was slightly taller it would not have fitted. I used the 140mm fan holes and a wire to hold it up, plus I have hard line tubing which helps support it a bit more. The motherboard which you have may cause some issues if you tried to mount it like I have though. Isn't the Z270 Classified K E-ATX? How did you make that fit?

It fits just fine, the trouble I had with the board is connecting the 24 pin. I had to wedge it in till the clip cleared the opening. The memory location is what is giving me an issue. If I used a slim cooler and possibly some slim fans it would fit just fine, but I am not quite ready for custom watercooling. Maybe if I had gotten some low profile ram, but I really wanted Corsair Dominator ram.

The HardwareCanucks DG-77 youtube review pointed out that you can't mount a 240mm radiator at the top, due to the center mounting holes for the radiator.

EVGA should of taken more time when designing the case to give customers more choice on where they can mount popular 240/280mm All in One liquid coolers. You know, design to not make compromises.

Do you have a picture of how the motherboard fits in the case? I would be very interested. Have you thought about upgrading the fans instead of trying to make another radiator fit up top?

All that needed to be done was to offset the mounts for the radiator and it would fit perfectly fine. It's a shame that EVGA opted to go for the center mounting holes though.

What gets me is it seems like nobody even attempted to install EVGA products into the case. I saw the case review but must have missed that somehow. I was hopeful that I could somehow make it work but the holes just are to close to the motherboard. If I used low profile memory it more than likely would fit, but that is a compromise I do not want to make.

I am wanting to do an in-depth view of the case from an EVGA fanboy's perspective. There are a couple of issues that I have with the case that if EVGA attempted to install some of their most recent boards into it. They possibly could have made changes. At the very least, have a hand in designing the next one's internals. This one feels like they had another company create one. It just feels like a case with EVGA on it. I will post a picture tomorrow for ya.

If anyone see's this and would like an in-depth view of the case from someone who basically only uses EVGA products lol, please post and I will do it this coming weekend.

If you feel like doing a review, do it. Just don't make it a fluff piece.

Cool pictures! That poor 24 pin connector though. There is more space than i thought. Thank you for uploading your photos!

The 24 pin just barely fit. I had to use some force to get the clip to clear. Taking it off will be a challenge lol. I have seen a few people say that this board will not fit. Good thing I did not see them before buying the case, but I would definitely say to not go bigger as some cables will not clear the opening.
