So I just ordered one of these today to mess around with..

Any one have any cool things to do with them (other than emulators for NES and such)?

Looking for interesting things to do..since I can't readily afford a new PC at the moment.

AMD Ryzen 7900x3d
Deepcool LT720
Gigabyte Aorus Elite AX X670 (Might change..don't like this board)
eVGA GeForce RTX 3090 FTW3 Ultra Gaming (Hybrid kit on it)
Asus ROG Swift PG43UQ 4k Monitor
eVGA 1600W Supernova T2 PSU
32GB Kingston 6000 DDR5 (2x16GB) Fury
Corsair MP600 Pro 2TB (Boot)
Corsair MP600 2TB (Games/Data)

Money is very tight for many people. In such a case a laptop or a Chromebook (especially refurbished) might work out. Newegg has some refurbished Chromebooks for as low as 129 dollars.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

I'm using an old laptop to surf the web, saving for a PC since I got a new job...the Raspberry Pi is just something to alleviate boredom...it was cheap ...Just looking for interesting things to do with it.

I put Kodi on my Pi2, put a heatsink on the CPU, overclocked it, made a PCB with LCD display and fan, wrote and compiled a C program to control the fan speed based on CPU temperature, and made that C program run at startup and display CPU and GPU temperature on the LCD display as well as display core frequency and memory usage.
There's some ideas. It's definitely a fun little toy with near endless possibilities. Just play with it and test what its pins can do.

ASRock Z77 • Intel Core i7 3770K • EVGA GTX 1080 • Samsung 850 Pro • Seasonic PRIME 600W Titanium
My EVGA Score: 1546 • Zero Associates Points • I don't shill
