To pass a CB run at 4.9GHz I need the maximum allowed voltage at 1.52V and temps are in the 90s, with one core over 95C.  I did a bad repaste job, with one core running hotter than the others, but this laptop is a pain to repaste, so perhaps some other time.   This system has a lot of vdroop, so the reported VID is certainly way less than the actual vcore, because if it was actually 1.52, temps would reach 100C in a couple of seconds.  Other laptops have a sort of LLC to counter vdroop in the EC, while this one does not.  The vdroop option in the BIOS does nothing, neither changing AC DC loadline values.  It is probably running vcore at 1.40-1.42V, judging by comparing temps and power draw with MSI and Alienware systems.
