Hi,
 
I know this board is pretty old. Intel has released Microcode update for Sandy-Bridge/Ivy-Bridge in March.
 
I have an Ivy-Bridge CPU on this board.
 
Just curious, is there a BIOS update on the way for this board?

    the chip makers failed on plugging the hole in most cpu for that .  the other one was really a fail on semiconductors . besides computers heading to black screens an sound drivers having to be constantly reset frustrations  in windows there still addressing it on there end . bios cant tackle either bug really   correctly . psst I have the same core an a p55 classified board .

    If you're running Windows 10 I know there is a patch for both Meltdown and Spectre.
