So I tried purchasing the Hybrid Cooler from your website and the transaction failed, but the money was still taken from my bank. I contacted the bank first and they told me to contact EVGA. So I contacted them, and EVGA refuses to help me even though I provided proof of my bank statement and the transaction number that the bank told me to give to EVGA. I was then told by them to contact my bank, so I explained to them how I had already contacted them. Apparently there is nothing my bank can do as the transaction shows as accepted and complete with no problems. I then called EVGA and they told me that the money is being “held” by my bank, and that it will return in 1-2 business days. You would think when I called the bank I would have been told it’s on hold and not confirmed. It’s now been over 2 business days and still no return. I am starting to feel like I got ripped off by EVGA, as they have been nothing but unhelpful and I do not know what to do. my names not allowed? its a herb legal in Canada and some states.. get real EVGA.

If EVGA didn't receive the money, it's caught in limbo somewhere...these issues can be hard to resolve. Your best bet unfortunately is to wait a few more days then contact your bank again about it. Most banks don't notify you proactively if you receive the funds back, so keep an eye on your statements and account for the time being.

You will probably have to wait until Monday to get this sorted out. I believe evga sales department is closed on the weekends.

my name is not insulting or rude and is totally legal in Canada and some states. why is this not allowed? your TOS says illegal and my name has nothing illegal about it.. I could have made my name "crackrcoks", or "Fentynal" lol im getting my 321$ CAD back n going somewhere else you guys are unreal here at EVGA. wish i looked into your company a little more before attempting to purchase here and you guys go ahead and give me a random name i wont be coming back after i get refunded not worth the hassle of emailing you a list of names when im never logging in again lol

The payment issue and having to wait until Monday resolve it. That is why so many people love buying from Amazon. Amazon 24/7 customer service FTW.

Hope it works out - clearly a hiccup with whoever the payment processor is (and it's not EVGA btw).. but as far as the "marijuanah420" name goes - seriously, did you really expect that to fly?

Companies don't really have a choice in the matter, it's up to the payment processors and the priority they set on payment types.

This stuff has been happening to my bank a lot recently, from multiple sites. It wouldn't necessarily be on EVGA. Sometimes I get excited to order something and try to close at the time of deposit and I don't think the bank has fully caught up so it denies a transaction, but it still comes out. 90% of the time it falls off after pending status.

what happened as your institution seen the sale as a POS. Took out the money. Something happened on EVGA's behalf, declined it (Belief of fraud, your institution seen it as fraud, etc). So there-for they "took your money" however, your money is actually regarded as "in Limbo" or "Pending". Usually takes 3-5 businesses days depending on your institution, and EVGA's user agreement with such institution to refund or remove the pending term from the sale.
Every sale is based on End-User agreements, and or Institution agreements, sometimes it's both. Most likely, it's based on YOUR banks SOP and Agreements for point-of-sale.
