So it's kinda weird. I set the multiplier to manual and set it to 4.7ghz
leave voltages on auto.

Disabled all power saving settings and C-step

turbo and EIST enabled
HT on

in the Bios show the system running at 4.3ghz and in windows.

Not sure why it wont run at the specified 4.7ghz.

I also tried disabling Hyper Threading Same result.

Tried disabling EIST which turned turbo off and made the system run at 3.2ghz

How can run over 4.3ghz?

Also the
CORSAIR Dominator Platinum 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3000 (PC4 24000) Memory Kit Model CMD16GX4M2B3000C15

XMP profile wont POST I get a 4C error

Thanks guys! please help me out.

Not that big of a deal since you can just set the ram up manually.

I'll give that a try. What about the clock speed though, what else can I try? Manual vcore?

Oh I see why... you have a 8700. I thought you had the k version. Max turbo when all cores are being stressed for the 8700 is 4.3. Nothing you can do.

The specs read Max 4,6 when I went to buy it. Didn't specify Single core though

Dang! you're right. I didn't know there was a K-model available. I would have gone with that to for only $40 more bucks.
