I have several problems with the motherboard:
1. motherboard does not see sdd drives (Plextor M8Pe M.2 2280 1TB + Plextor M8Pe M.2 2280 512 GB), but works in Windows normally.
2. problems with voltage 12 V:
 - in bios shows voltage 12.1
 - in win shows voltage 10.12
the same values on the power supply: EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G2 and EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G1
(By the way, the  SuperNOVA 1000 G2 sometimes has strange sound cricket)

    1.  Go to www.hwinfo.com and download the latest version.  I have worked with the author before, where some of the readings on EVGA motherboards were funky.  Send him some hardware scans and he was able to adjust values to work properly.  Perhaps, because of the complexity of some of the modules on the Dark board...you may need to do the same.  Perhaps your bios is correct and the software you are using is not set up for your board.

    2.  Above are some recommended settings in the bios to make sure that your m.2 drives are set up properly...as long as they are PCIe drives and not SATA.  I have one NvME drive and it is in the third slot on my FTW K board.  Make sure that both your slots are enabled.  Then follow the rest...

    1. Make sure your bios is completely up to date.
    2. Software readings can be inaccurate. Bios reading is the best reading you can get next to a dmm (digital multimeter) reading being the very best reading you can get.

    1. bios 1.06
    2. how do I OC? What to trust, if the values in the BIOS are different from the values in the programs?
This is not the case with Asus or other motherboards.

    2. Trust the values in the BIOS or DMM. Software programs are an inaccurate measurement when it comes to voltage. E.g. by my GPU I set 1.2V my DMM read 1.262V which is quite a big difference.

Generally, the power supply readings (i.e. 3.3V., 5V., 12V.) are usually the most inaccurate.  Most software programs read the CPU, DIMM, and other motherboard voltages just fine.  When overclocking, you should be using the BIOS, but software will still usually pull the vcore and the rest properly.  I just wouldn't trust the readings for the 12V., for example.

I think your computer would not work on so low voltage.
You would experience shut down on 10V.
Voltmeter + Molex and you can get most accurate 12V and 5V readings.
There is a other options but this is easiest.

Would be interesting to see what the voltages read in the EVGA E-Leet software -

    https://www.evga.com/eleet/

As mentioned the voltages really should be checked with a digital multi-meter

If you are interested in overclocking you should give the X299 Dark OC Guide that is linked in the thread started by Jacob that is here in the X299 forum section ( the direct link to the guide - https://xdevs.com/guide/e299ocg/ ) a good read over

Did you resolve your M.2 issue?

CPU VIN is the voltage delivered from +12V PSU cables by motherboard VRM into CPU socket. Intel Default for this voltage is +1.800 V, and this is what you see in BIOS for CPU VIN.  ALL Skylake-X CPU have internal VRM, called FIVR (Fully-Integrated Voltage Regulator) which takes this +1.800V and then regulate to individual voltages for each CPU Core, Uncore, and so on. This is what called in BIOS as Core Voltage. This voltage is NOT available on ProbeIt header, only the VIN is routed.

In case of Kabylake-X CPU on X299 DARK - VIN becomes CPU Vcore, as Kabylake-X CPU does not have FIVR technology. Then you have CPU Vcore on the ProbeIt connector.

If you have question, please post in public forum. I do not reply PMs, so all in community can benefit the answer.
