Hey guys,

I recently purchased and installed a Z370 Classified K. Everything *seems* to be in working order, but I keep getting six beeps when I start it up, followed by some slight chirps. I get no errors and Windows 10 installed and boots just fine.

I'm concerned there is something wrong with my system. I've heard conflicting reports about the beeps. I know how to make them stop, but my concern is that there is something wrong with my build.

TIA

Beep info listed inside the z370 classified k manual...

PC Speaker: This is a small mono low-fidelity speaker, which is permanently attached to the motherboard. Its primary use is for debugging purposes. A POST beep may indicate a successful POST or various tones for USB initialization, while other beeps may indicate an issue during the POST process.

Yes, I've read that. But I've also read that the beeps are normal because it's based on USB devices.
I'm having a difficult time figuring out if the beeps are normal, or if there is actually something wrong.

6 short beeps usually indicates a keyboard error. If you have a USB keyboard plug it into another USB slot.

The first time I booted  mine I though I was getting secret messages from The Borealis  research vessel.
You get long and short beeps and a Chirp that sound like radio code.

For the times I am have problems a slow motion video helps to catch the Codes and sounds helps.

BIOS designers seem to be using the beeps less for errors and more for boot information.
as long as we have the LED display on the MB .
