That might be why they are called "EVGA Enthusiast Built" It is what EVGA is all about. If you want Normal you may need to look elsewhere  Maybe Like Dell or HP, I would add MSI and ASUS but I own their hardware so I won't  Also I am not sure I would trust what this President Eccentric Co-Founder would recommend. Thanks guys guess what I was meaning by CPU is it's low end there are 4 i9 processors thought I was getting middle one when I bought it but o well?
i7-7820X is high end HEDT processor.
i9 is ultra high end.

yea I know I bought early when it 1st came out only the 19-7980x was out was 2000$ but i'm very happy with this cpu does great on the strix rog x299 got the dark cause I wanted the KP 1080ti which is upgrade from the strix I will sell it I guess!!

Z690 classified start build X299 DARK 7900X 7740x soon 7980X X299 APEX X299 rampage Extreme E762 W3520@4.2 E679 2600k E760 X980 E761 I920 E770 I950 and SR2's and SRX's Z87 classified , MVIE built with 4770K Z97 classified , ftw Z97 , MFVII only wait for gigabyte LN2 X99 series.... classified , FTW , RE5 , oc formula, profesional , X11 , soc force , msi gaming9ack X79 classified, dark and RIVE, RIVBE,, xtreme11 and many classified a panel from EVGA no just one sample and other DFI giga etc

Just looked at Corsair's motherbaord compatibility list for that ram - they do not list ANY X299 platforms from anyone on it. Only X99 and Z170 boards - Just like your Asus board you will just have to try Not on the EVGA Dark list as well

a lot of Evga here case and all always watercooled in this case now a lot of fans great air flow gonna through case not finished yet not bad though for now.

BTW VegoXE - its me :D Its not as good as the 1st I got(2139MHz) but on SLI 2101 is a decent score, especially on quiet water :)  Next week I am going to build another PC, more mobile, and less expensive build. Dark + 7820X + 1080Ti FTW3 + T2 1000 + 32GB + Optane 900P in InWin 305 with 420mm rad It should give a decent FPS in most games. Hope it clocks good :D

So pretty much, as of right now, only intel m.2 ssd’s can be used to make a bootable raid 0 array? So I either need to sell my 960 pro’s and buy intel ssd’s, or just hope that intel pulls their head from their bum and allows other m.2’s to become bootable?
Hello I am wondering if you have windows on one of the drive on the Samsung pro? Have you format both of M2 drive before putting in two of the M.2 Samsung Pro in the Dark motherboard? I having the same issue. Beside I have one drive with windows 10 on it and when I go to the BIOS to RAID the m.2 with both Samsung Pro it list one drive saying it non-raidable and the other one doesn't show or be listed. To me this is a BIOS issue. They didn't put a functions setting to be able to format and chose RAID setting for this path. I heard other motherboard out there was able to RAID the m.2 Drives
