This game is gonna be so fun!  Only a couple more days till its out!  AND I heard its an Xbox Play Anywhere game (If you buy it digitally you can play on both Windows 10 and Xbox).

I have only been slightly interested in the game. The original demo from E3 didn't really stand out but it's a RARE game so often times they are a lot of fun even if they don't look great and people seemed to really like the beta.

I've played a fair bit of it since one of the first alpha tests.  If you get together with the right crew, you can have a lot of fun.
That said....being cross play could end up on servers full of immature kids screaming into their mics....maybe wait till the new game novelty has worn off a little.

I'm still waiting on my RMA application going through so I won't be playing it for a while sadly :(

I am mostly also wondering about content and the end game. Those are two areas a lot of games fail at.

From what Ive played of the last couple beta tests, and what im seeing across the internet, its exactly what i thought it was. A game which is fun for a hot minute then boring quickly. The lack of any sort of even basic tutorial made starting out abysmal. Took me and my crew 2 or 3 hours to figure out what to do, and then it turns out all that can really be done is a bunch of repetitive fetch quests or fighting AI skeletons. This is far from a $60 game. Its unfortunate it turned out like it did. I'm going to wait and see how Skull and Bones turns out to see if that worthy of being a good pirate game.

Describes most games release these days. This is a console game first and foremost which is why I wasn't even interested.

Unfortunately this is because gaming studios seem to cater to the fickle everyday gamer and that's it. They play the game for a week then want a new one, and have no problem dropping $60 every time. Its a racket IMO.

I was watching 2 of my buddies play this over the weekend. I love the concept of the game, but it doesn't look like there is really much content or anything that really keeps you coming back. The graphics are very odd........at times the game looks great, but other times, it looks like trash. Like they couldn't decide if they wanted to do the cartoony look or realistic look, so some areas are bisually accepting, and  other times MS paint comes to mind. My buddies both said what Rjay1255 said, it's fun at first then get's boring extremely fast.
