Was wondering the same. The last version that could do manual curve was 6.14 released in Aug 2017. The latest 6.2.3 was dropped in Nov.

Maybe they are working on something else from scratch?

6.2.3 is doing the job.
Not with all features, as we always reported, but at least it can O.C. and save fan profiles.

I fully agree. No amount of patching can save this awful program now, it's been years.

Scrap it. Start from sratch and I am fairly confident that the software engineers at EVGA can come up with something good.

But pointless to update (or try to) a program which almost all hate, and is often dis-functional. I mean it just doesn't work as it should.
Please stop wasting your valuable time on this garbage software.

A clean start ( yes we will have wait a long time - but that is to be accepted/expected, and it's acceptable) is the only sensible thing really. Brand spanking shiny new program that
actually works, and contains at least a bit of intutivety for the user.

No offence intended. That's just straight up what I think.

Sometimes, when it's relevant, our MODS direct a specific thread to EVGA Techs for looking into it (some specific answer about a screw thread on a hybrid kit for example).

Afterburner man.

For those with ICX Technology, Afterburner won't have use. Only PXOC because of the custom fan curve on each fan.

1st re: above quote. Absolutely! If AB did work with ICX I doubt many people would feel the need to complain. Simply switch to AB.

If this version doesn't fix the keyboard lag on boot EVGA needs to fire somebody. Stat. This software is hurting their brand.

I have alluded to this in a similar way several times regarding the business angle. (enough said for now about user issues for me, doesn't help.). You are totally correct to say it hurts the brand.

I gave this example ages ago but imagine this: An enthusiast is planning on upgrading his GPU to a high quality GTX 1080ti. His shortlist is down to 3 cards including EVGA ftw3 1080ti icx. Now I believe EVGA DOES make excellent hardware, but what is the imaginary person in my imaginary example above going to think/do when he tries such software like AB and the anti-intuitive, PXOC to squeeze a few more fps from his aging 980?
Will his shortlist get shorter?

Of course this is just an example, but seriously, I believe it has an impact. GPU purchases are high now, but in a competitive environment this just wouldn't cut it.

100% this.  It sucks to boot up in a matter of seconds, then have to wait twice as long as my computer was booting just to be able to use my keyboard.  It's not that long, but it shouldn't be a problem in the first place.  This issue, combined with the massive keyboard input lag in-game when I have anything relating to the OSD activated, make me regret my purchase.  It's lame because I love the card, but the software is horrendous and will make me steer clear of anything iCX related for the next gen of cards if nothing is done about it.

Yes there is a pretty major update coming soon with a major GUI update and bugfixes.

Thanks for the continued commitment, looking forward to it.

And please, make sure the application is thoroughly tested aswell as testing compatibility with other software solutions of other manufacturers that control other hardware such as watercoolers.
The last thing you want to have is people complaining about severe compatibility issues and that may influence their future choices for EVGA products, please keep this in mind.

I do know EVGA is really trying their best though, so keep it up.

My thoughts were that EVGA is waiting for the next generation cards to be released so we'lll get a whole new version of EVGA Precision, like XOC was released with Pascal compatibility in mind.

i7 3930K 4.4Ghz - EVGA 1080Ti FTW3 - 32GB Corsair Dominator DDR3-1866 - Asus Sabertooth X79 - Samsung 840 Pro 256GB - Samsung 860 Pro 2TB - 3x HGST 7K4000 Deskstar 4TB - 3x HGST Ultrastar He10 8TB - Corsair AX1200i - Asus PG279Q + BenQ BL2411 - Razer Viper Mini/SBF98 - Logitech Z906 & G35 - Windows 10 Professional

I am looking forward to the update. But I don't mind waiting. Rushing it is never good. Should be fully tested in various scenarios, and in as many different machines that are available for the dev. team. Good luck!

I'm hoping it's straightforward to use and reliable in that it just works.  Anytime & everytime.  No more of "do this" to workaround that or "do that" to workaround this type stuff.

MSI AB works so well (for anything not ICX), but I'd much prefer to feel that way about PXOC.

Maybe they will launch something after the new release of PXOC.
Or it will merge all together in one app (can always dream about it).
