The G3 is a good power supply. If it was me, i would go for the P2 version for the better efficiency.

The OEM is Super Flower, that's who makes it, and is based on the second generation Leadex platform..Good stuff..Here is a review.

EVGA recommends a 600-watt or greater PSU for a GTX 1080 Ti "based on a PC configured with an Intel Core i7 3.2GHz processor."

To be sure a 750-watt unit is right for you, use the OuterVision Power Supply Calculator (more detailed) or the EVGA Power Meter to estimate your system's wattage need..If you use the EVGA Power Meter, you'll recieve a 10% discount code in your email good only in the EVGA US Shopping Cart for 30 days.

The 750W P2 is a 80Plus Platinum rated power supply. That gives you better efficiency rating and better build quality. The fan on the P2 doesn't need to turn on as often, that will help to prolong the fans life.

The P2 will cost a bit more but if you plan on keeping the system or at least the power supply over 4 years, i think it would be worth the extra money for the P2. If you like buying all new hardware every 3-4 years, i would just go with the G3, it will work fine for you.

Why is that? I’ve done a lot of research and many say the evga psu are pretty good

SeaSonic actually makes it's own power supplies, where evga buys from an OEM. In the past evga sold power supplies made by SeaSonic. The reason to check out SeaSonic power supplies, you might be able to find them on sale. Select SeaSonic PSU come with Industry Leading 12year Warranty. One thing i like about SeaSonic, they don't send review samples directly to reviewers, they use retailers to do that. That is the best way to do things in my opinion, it gives consumers a better idea of what they will receive, if they purchase a SeaSonic power supply.

EVGA recently was busted for sending cherry picked review samples to reviewers, while the units available in the retail chain were made by a subcontractor.
