oh nice! how do you like that monior? i’ve been trying to pick one and i don’t know what to go with! i am looking to get a 144hz monitor

It’s great. Gsync comes at a premium cost unfortuantely

If you're going to consider VR definitely go 1080Ti. My HTC vive currently runs fine with most titles on the Ti but I'm anticipating near future VR titles (and def future headsets) will force me to upgrade for smooth fps.
 
I'd consider doing some serious research on your monitor as it's a much broader/tougher choice than GPU IMO.

i’ve done so much research on monitors but there is no clear answer on the best one. it is a tough decision

The most recent "best one" for me was the one that met my specs after research, got in to a group of finalists that I liked, and when I was ready to buy went on a great sale. :)

Don't look at the Dell alienware 34" g-sync 120hz (overclockable).. ;)

Bought that 3 weeks ago and wow. Came from a 27" 1440 g-sync thst I gave my son after moving up to a cheap Samsung 40" 4k screen.

Wow! Perfect match for a single or 1080ti sli.
