Hey all,

Has anyone used or still have the Antec Khuler 920 or something similar? The reason I ask is, I have had my for 5-6 years and it still works flawlessly (I dont not run my PC 24/7) however when dusting my case last night I noticed what appeared to be a light yellowish oily substance around where the nozzles go into the CPU pump and block. When wiping it with a small piece of plastic it appears to have a petroleum jelly consistancy but I could be wrong  :(. There are not drips on the tubing or in my case or GPU which is right below the cooler. I am concerned that this is a beginning of a leak after all these years  :( The plan is to build a new PC come the end of April with the EVGA CLC 280, however with my new GPU coming in this week I am concerned about putting a brand new GPU in a case with a possible leak hazard.

Would this be a leak or just oil residue left over from lubricant on the nozzles??

Thanks so much
Regards

If it is still leaking I would have concerns that it is going downhill fast. My suggestion would be to obtain a cheap air cooler in the interim until you can start your new build.

If you haven't seen this in 5 or 6 years, I suspect that it is the beginning of a leak and you're seeing the coolant perhaps mixing with the sealing lubricant at the connection.

I agree with rjohnson, pick up a cheap air cooler to hold you over until your new build.
