Looking for a family calendar app, right now just between two iphones, but I will be going back to Android soon.

    We use Google Calendar.
    It's simple, it syncs, and allows you to enter things on your own calendar or on the family shared one.

    ^ This. Or you can give others access to your calendar, and can also decide on each and every entry whether you want that entry shared etc. It syncs with Android's native calendar app no problem so you don't need to install anything, and you can access from any browser on any desktop/laptop - you don't need to install any specific software.

    +1 on the recommendation. I use Google calendar for my personal appointments and it works very well. It's also one of the easiest calendars to use. No rocket science needed.
