I'm building my first PC as I've always bought prebuilt machines.  I wanted to make it special.  I actually started with picking out my GPU, the EVGA 1080 Ti FTW3 Hybrid, then worked around the aesthetics of it.  I haven't been able to source the GPU yet at these prices but I'm waiting patiently and doing other things such as cabling and such.  I also don't have my ram yet so it's not completely powered up but it's next on the buy list.  I custom sleeved the 24 pin, 8 pins and front I/O cables myself with supplies from Mod-One.  I'm going for a black and brushed aluminum look. Screen in photo is running as extended monitor on my old Alienware laptop.

Just to update, I picked up the 1080 FTW Hybrid over the 1080 Ti Hybrid mainly because the 1080 has the brushed metal accent pieces that I thought would look nice in the build and it does.  Will take final pictures when RAM comes in and post them.

Here's what it looks like installed.  I really love the looks and am happy with my GPU choice.  I purposely sleeved my wires to the GPU this way but I'm not sure I like it this way after installation.   There is almost no sag in the GPU I just can't take a level photo.

Also, counting the PSU and GPU fans this rig has 12 fans total.  I would suggest for anyone with over 8 fans in a system to keep a diagram of where each one is plugged into.  Luckily I have 7 of mine running on a PWM splitter controlled by the AIO cooler on the CPU.

YES!!!  Yes I am.  Would have been done sooner if not for some financial setbacks.  It's ok though, it'll make the finished product that much sweeter.  But, I am ready to post up some benchmarks on this system.  I hope I can get 5 GHz out of this 8700k along with some great graphics scores from the 1080.

Finally got this darling purring.  I love the looks of it and it is a HUGE step up from my old laptop.  I love every part of it and they work beautifully with each other.  The H150i Pro handles 5GHz with ease.  I have fans in push/pull config on both CPU and GPU coolers.  I just don't know how far I can/should push the GPU.

Finally posting some pics of the nearly finished setup.  I am not happy with the Razer keyboard.  The Keys stick and have to be modified, I've contacted Razer and they want to see a video of the keys sticking.  Love my Basilisk mouse though.  Will be replacing the keyboard.
