So I have had this loop running for a few months, about 6 now.  It went really south the past month or so and the tinted case windows kind of prevented me from seeing how bad things got.  I only use distilled water with some PT Nuke( about three drops for this loop).  I have yet to have time to tear it down but what would be the best way to really deep clean the components?  Can I use a detergent like dish soap or will that result in corrosion?

    You're a bad man CoolGTX. Quite a resource of info!!!!

    I have been tempted to try Mayhems Blitz on a tear down sometime.

    mild soap and tooth brush always works great for tear down hand cleaning. if you want to just flush it then blitz for about 24~48hrs should do it, but if it real bad just tear it down.

    Follow Cool GTX's guide - one of the best guides out there ;)

    How bad did things get ? can you show us some photo's ?

    How I clean my loop is: (this way is how I do my WC cleaning)
    * first rinse out with distilled water until the liquid is clear as I feel comfortable with - if you got a drain plug (follow Jayztwocentz for the way he flushes the loop, same way I do mine)
    * Then Mayhems Blitz part 1 on the rads- 20 hours later or how ever you feel ready, drain and let it dry as per Mayhems recommendations.
    * Mayhems Blitz part 2 in the loop with rads connected for a deep clean - I run mine with system on generating heat (normal operations).
    * Drain and let it dry.
    * I then put distilled water in and check the pH levels.
    * Drain and dry.
    * Place new fluid in.
    * Check pH.

    I do mine this way due to past experiences of fluid doing weird weird stuff.

    FYI - !!Do not!! use Part 1 of Blitz in your entire loop - it will go bye bye :(
