The problem of high-ping players disrupting Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds matches with their jerky movement and wonky hit detection hopefully won’t continue for much longer, as developers PUBG Corp have announced plans to start testing a solution this week. Having previously considered the approach of a maximum ping limit, they now say they’re going to divide matchmaking pools by ping, putting low-ping players together and placing HPBs in a screeching dialup pen. The devs don’t know when this will properly launch in the main game for everyone, but they plan to start testing in some regions sometime this week.
the_Scarlet_oneThey should put known heaters in a cheater server permanently. Don’t ban them, just make them all battle to the death over their cheats. As far as high ping, my internet let’s me play on any region with no lag, but PUBG is absolute garbage lately. When I am running and watch the replay and see the person was aiming nowhere near me, it makes me think they were cheating when in reality it is just crap replay on the game. I have also noticed that shooting at someone moving at full speed in a vehicle does not require aiming ahead of the player.... what is with that. When shooting over distance, you have to wait for bullets to fly and then compensate for the drop, but you don’t have to compensate at all when shooting at a moving vehicle?
