Hi everyone!

I want to buy a new GPU because my previous card is pretty much faulty. I was thinking on buying a EVGA 1060 so I can use the Step-up program to get another one if needed.

My first question is, if I decide to buy the card, and decide to use the program, where do I need to send the card? Is there an adress or an "easy way" to handle the shipping? Buying the new card is influenced by the shipment cost. (I know I need to handle the shipment cost both ways, I just don't know how to calculate it).

Another question is, even tho I read the page:
Is the EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 SC GAMING 3GB GDDR5 192bit PCIe (03G-P4-6162-KR) qualify? I'm planning on buying this card, and later maybe step-up to a better one. (I know this should be obvious but it's so late in the night and I'm very tired, sorry, better ask than regret later!)

Thanks for all the help!

Cards get sent to California, they will send you an email for every step. Register your product and upload your invoice in the proper format.
Im stepping up my 1060 right now and another one after that. It does qualify.

Hello and welcome to the forums! Once you have registered the graphics card at EVGA.com, you should see a "Start Step-Up" button on your products page under Member --> My Products --> View Details. Please keep in mind that an invoice does need to be uploaded and if you did not register within 14 days of the original purchase date you would need to purchase an extended warranty to unlock your remaining Step-Up eligibility days. After you submit your Step-Up request, it would be reviewed and you would receive all further information through e-mail correspondence.

Step ups take a long time. Mine was submitted a while back, and I can see the cards “in stock” through the evga bundle program, but evga hasn’t approved my step up yet, so do not attempt or assume that it will be quick. My step up was submitted 28 Jan, and I will wait patiently until evga approves the step up to the next step in the process.

Evga usually designates a few cards for sale, a few for RMA, a few for step up, and a few for vendors. Everyone waits in line of when they submit their request.

I am currently using step-up to upgrade my 1060 6gb ssc to a 1080ti sc gaming black edition. I waited in line 1 week to get the email to send payment. Then I paid 2 days later and sent my card out another 3 days after that. They received my card yesterday and am hoping my new card gets sent to me tomorrow. Can't wait to race in VR with that thing. Should be a huge upgrade.
