Error code 79 (please help!)

I had this same problem with my new Z370 Classified K motherboard. Searched everywhere for a solution, ended up here. For me the solution was to push the "BIOS/CMOS reset" button. Problem solved. Everything works perfectly now.
 
Apparently these boards are being sent out with crap in the CMOS settings. A simple note to users to clear CMOS on first power up would probably  save a lot of people the headache I and others have had trying to get the system booted for the first time.

Well this doesn't work for my case. But if it can work on OP's, then it's OK.

If you have an X99 Micro 2 clear the BIOs, one stick of ram, and your system drive and nothing else. See if it boots or if it sticks with code 79 and doesn't go further. If it sticks and won't go further disconnect your system drive and try another HD or SSD.
