Anyone in it?

Got in it today and frankly the tech just isn't there. My internet isn't terrible, but the image quality of the stream while playing games at 1080p is pretty horrid. It pretty much negates the ability to max out the in-game visual options. In order to get some good looking visuals and actually take advantage of the Tesla P40 GPU used to render the game you'd need some serious bandwidth, but if you can afford serious bandwidth like that monthly, you could probably afford top end PC hardware in the first place. Seems like the only market for this game streaming would be if you had a netbook/tablet literally incapable of playing the games on it due to system requirements. I tried a few games and  launching games via Steam is handled very poorly and just forget about playing competitive multiplayer games due to latency issues. I just don't feel the technology is there yet to make it attractive to anyone.

I think cloud gaming would be a terrible direction for gamers, except perhaps in certain competitive multiplayer games in which it may lessen cheating, but cheaters will probably find a away around it eventually.

Welcome me to the forums. Hopefully you can get your posts quick. If you don’t know what GeForce is, I would suggest using google. It’s terrible bloatware.

As far as your 100 posts, there are plenty of topics in the general discussion forum that are nothing but “spam”. You can get to 100 quick there.

Fearpoint, I am not surprised by your report. Companies have been trying to make game streaming services for many years. Time and again, the same problems appear. They know ahead of time what their technical limits are, but for some reason, they keep thinking that they will be the company to finally find a way to make it work.

I see no point even trying it. My cable internet provider started enforcing datacap last year.
It doesn't mater if you pay for:
    • 1Gbps down ($120 a month)
    • 100Mbps down ($79 a month)
    • 50Mbps down ($73 a month)

All 3 internet packages have the same datacap. You can pay $50 extra a month to add unlimited data to one of the above internet plans.
