With upcoming premiere of Final Fantasy XV Windows edition Square Enix released recently an official tool that helps you estimate how well game will run on your PC!
I just ran them on my system rocking a GTX1080ti FTW3. In 4k got a "standard" score with average ~40FPS. In 1440p (my native resolution) i got a "high" score with average ~60FPS. Here are recordings in 1440p
https://youtu.be/ytnTAbJSJs8 and 4k
https://youtu.be/c7ASURsOeO8 You may wonder how did i do 1440p benchmark despite its not being on a resolution list in the tool, there is a trick on how to run benchmark in any custom resolution
https://youtu.be/4cq90KSZOB4 just add this below to a shortcut parameters:
--graphicsIni config\GraphicsConfig_BenchmarkHigh.ini -f --displayResolution 2560 1440 --renderingResolution 2560 1440 --locale=en
Benchmark available here
http://benchmark.finalfantasyxv.com/en/index.html and thats also where you can find explanation of scores. Best part of benchmark tho? It already supports load of NVIDIA tech like ANSEL letting you grab some ultra hi res screenshots just from the benchmark rendered world, here are examples:
