Well i've been trying to get a new card for gaming and mining while not gaming, but you know how that goes.  Anyways, since it seems like it's going to be a while till i can get my hands on one, i figure i will check if anyone else out there is running a GTX 750 TI and has any tips for Neoscrypt or Cryptonight algorithms.  They are just terrible on my machine and don't seem to be as high as some websites list.  Does anyone have this card and have any tips on getting it to either get better hashrate, or perform better to allow me to use the computer for non-intensive purposes while running the miner?  I pretty much only use a version of ccminer for all my algorithms, but i'm totally open to most anything out there.  And if you've found a different algorithm that seems to perform well or allow you to use computer better while it's running i'm happy to hear anything you have on that also.  My computer performs the best on xevan algorithm using  ccminer-krnlx-xevan

I'm using...
Windows 7 64 bit
driver version 390.65
CUDA version 8

It works ok on coins with low difficulty.   The computer is on all day, so i figure mine new coins when they have low difficulty, hold them and see if they do anything.  Xevan gives me 700 kh/s which is fine for a low difficulty coin.  The one i'm doing now, i can get 6 coins a day.  The coins is only $0.10 today but has been as high as $0.25 in the last month.  And if it hits $0.50 then i'm very happy with that card.   I'm looking to get a new card, but for now i'm trying to make due with what i got.  And the thing is so quiet and sips so little energy why not put it to use when i'm not using the computer.

Your card is just too weak.  Sorry but there is no other way to say it.  It can't mine well.  Just let it do its thing and forget about it.  That's all you can do really.

I guess i'm the only one who believes in this little baby.  It's doing ok from my standpoint...i was just seeing if anyone had any tips for making it a little better.  It almost gets $1 a day...that's a free six pack every weekend that it made for me.  I guess i'll just pat it on the heatsink and says thanks as i drink em down.  Thanks little buddy....(but i splurged and got a $8 six pack just now.)

Well if you want to make it better, just do the usual.  Increase your airflow in your case, find your max memory clock and your max gpu clock. Because the card sips power, you can overclock the heck out of it without it affecting your power costs much.  So use afterburner or whatever and pump up the memory clock 25-50 ticks at at time till it craps out, then dial it back.  You can do the same with your gpu frequencies, but bump it up slower at 15-20 at a time.  Just keep an eye on temps and on stability.  Bad shares will cost you money.

Anytime.  Just make sure if you're using nicehash to maybe redo your benchmarks after you've dialed in your overclocks.  The 750ti should be able to do about 1300 on the GPU give or take, and almost 2700 on the memory, maybe more.

Try mining, Pirl,EXP or PGC.  your hash rate will be low, but will still make 1-2$ a day.

I was able to bump my setting up to these....

core +285
Mem + 465

And my xevan hashrate went from 690 kh/s to 846 kh/s.  Awesome.  Thanks for the info...never even thought about overclocking this thing.....still a newbie.  I'll try those other coins mentioned also.  thanks all.

You mine with whatever hardware you have available.  For cost recovery a 750ti is actually fantastic as they can do about $0.75-$1.00 a day in profit.  Though with this current down trend, it's at about $0.50 atm.  But what you do is keep going, and when the market recovers, what you mined for cheap, will be worth more.
