Good morning everyone!

First post, sorry its not an introduction.

My rma arrived at evga's facility last Friday, its been stuck with the same status ever since, I totally understand things get mixed up or take longer to solve, I definitely have no rush either since I got my hands on a 1080 ti kingpin thankfully before prices skyrocketed.
Anyways, I sent in an email a few days ago to the person that emailed me with the rma info to ship my card, he said that due to his location in Miami, he had to email the rma department in Brea, but once he had some info he would get back asap, this was 2 days ago.

If anyone could shed some light or maybe check the technicians last drawer to see if my card is still there, maybe move it to the top one, I would really appreciate it.

Happy Friday!

Give EVGA a call and talk to them directly. Much faster than dealing with the forums. :-)

They have 24 hour support and usually get back to users pretty quick.

I live in Mexico, 1-800 numbers from the US don't work here.
Whatever reply I get here will still be faster =).

There is a whole list of contacts. I would assume Lat-Am would be your best bet,

Mods can go ahead and close, got ahold of a rep, should get a replacement shipped in the next few days or so, if nothing happens I will open another thread.

Cheers!

Sort of on topic and off topic.

I sent in my GTX 970 recently and EVGA sent out a replacement GTX 970 the very same day! The total turn around including shipping was roughly 8 days total. Honestly it would of been a few days sooner if it wasn't for holidays and snow delays.

My brother's Gigabyte GTX 980 Ti took 7 long weeks and Gigabyte still didn't fix the card.

Different regions and different products can have different turnaround times based on available stock. Our warranty terms that we will ship a replacement within 3 business days, that means a replacement can ship anytime between the Monday through Friday processing time once we receive the product.

Everything is security.

Ahh right, I thought it was 3 days tops to check and ship, not an additional 1-3 days. That makes more sense.
Thanks for the explanation!

Thanks, I have never had issues with gigabyte, but I have only purchased one gpu from them and a handful of motherboards, Evga has always been my first pick when it comes to gpu's and power supplies.
I already have a part number, just gotta wait and see when it will ship.

Cheers!

I apologize for the confusion, it is not an additional 1-3 days. From the time the item is checked in it will have a replacement sent within 3 business days as our warranty terms and conditions state. It may ship sooner than 3 business days however it should not take longer. Please note that this only means that Monday through Friday is counted as our RMA department is not open Saturday or Sunday.

Everything is security.

Card just arrived, have not had time to test it yet but mine came all covered with the plastic as if it were new, one thing I noticed though is that it does not have a serial number. Is this normal?

Not normal at all. I had my card replaced by evga too. My replacement card came with a serial number.

I know you got through with EVGA already, but for future people in a similar situation, you could contact EVGA US technical support for free using skype. Just thought it would be helpful information.
