Hey! So I emailed EVGA customer support about this, but figured i'd post here as well. Came across a few minor issues with the install guide for the Hydro Copper waterblock while installing on my SC2. A few are just typos, so ignore those, but there was one regarding installing the GPU bracket that might get someone. (See below highlighted text)
My card model is 11G-P4-6593-KR
The block model is 400-HC-5599-B1
The instruction guide for the block is E009-00-000215
The first issues is on step 3 of that guide. In it, it details which screws to remove based off which card type one has (in my case, it's card #D). The screws that need to be removed on the back of the card are correct in the guide, however, there are 3 spring screws securing the cooler to the top of the card that are not detailed in the guide. Additionally, I found that I had to remove the silver fan shroud to get at two of those spring screws.
The second and third issue, on page 6, step 6c, claims this step is for iCX card models (A, B, and C). Everywhere else, A is a founders edition card. It also does not include card D, which IS an iCX card. This could be construed as not needing to install the GPU bracket on RGB iCX cards. The second issue on this step is that is says to use 4 #4 screws. These do not fit on card D. The step needs to be edited to inform the user to use 4 #3 screws (P/N 20701000002564)
The 4th issue, on Page 6, step 7a, a sentence reads 'If you do not get thermal grease on other components, clean any affected areas with high percentage isopropyl alcohol. The sentence should read, "if you DO get thermal grease on other components...:"
The 5th issue, on page 1, in the 'included accessories' section, items 4 and 5 have the same part number. Item 4 should be P/N 207010000065065, not 66.
It's my understanding that this waterblock is quite new, as when I ordered it a couple weeks ago, it was still in a 'members-only release' phase. So given that likely not many of these have been installed yet, I just wanted to provide some feedback.
Like I said, nothing major. Just that the documentation needs to be ironed out a bit. Otherwise, the block fit like a glove!
