PC not turning on

My PC started having a hard time coming on.
I woud switch the PSU off at the IO switch in teh back and then was able to boot the next day/morning.
This now failed, after the PC was off for 8hours.
The MB shows there is standby power, but not boot up.
Tried a different PSU and all works fine.
Ordered a PSU tester, but is there any thing I can test before hand?
PSU EVGA PSU SuperNOVA 1000 PS80+ platinum
MB Asus Z97-Pro
CPU i7-4790k

    Agree that this sounds like an RMA for sure.
