Let me start out by saying I already own 4 sticks of 16 GB Crucial 2400 RAM, for a total of 64 GB. I guess it will either work in the Z370 FTW, or it won't (it currently works in a Gigabyte Z170 board).

However, the reason I'm asking here is that I'm trying to learn how to understand the listed memory specs. The specs list Crucial BLS8G4D24DFSA.16FAR, which I can't locate anywhere on the Crucial website. Googling it turns up results mostly but not exclusively relating to EVGA itself. Is it possible that RAM was discontinued some time ago by Crucial? Even if it were, it's surprising they don't refer to it on their website.

FWIW the crucial modules I have are BLS16G4D240FSB. If I can get the Z370 FTW working with 32 or 64 GB of it, I'll report back.

32 GB (2 x 16GB) of Crucial BLS16G4D240FSB works well, and is stable without any need to mess around in the BIOS. I haven't had a chance to test 64 GB extensively yet, but it also runs without difficulty. I hope to test that more extensively shortly.

Given the price of new RAM these days, perhaps this information might help others who like me already own RAM from bygone years and hope to use it in a new Z370 system.

Thanks for the info. If it worked in the 170 board then chances were good to work in the 370. Glad it worked out for you.

Does anyone know if this memory will work in the Z370 Classified K motherboard, Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 DRAM 2666MHz (PC4-21300) C16 Memory Kit - Black?  I was thinking of getting this now and then later adding another identical set.
