Just wondering if any users ran into USB 3.0 not detecting at all  under UEFI  ( USB 2.0 did pick up ) Under UEFI

Intel Raid sometimes showed up in Bios under ADAVNCE TAB most the time NOT under UEFI

Bios not recognizing or Blue Ray Player or Brand New DVD Player or USB 3.0 Win 10 or Samsung EVO 850SSD drives under BOOT in Save & Exit TAB ??? WITH UEFI ENABLED

Changing CSM didn't help either... Even went as far as switching to clean unused secondary Bios.

Though I see Windows 7 Support Drivers from EVGA will windows 7 give me less problems ?
Help Please

Current bios rev 1.06

Older ASUS Blue Ray Player (SATA CONNECTION)
Recommended by evga Windows 10  64 Bit  ( Full Version )
WENT WITH USB 3.0 Windows 10  64bit Because neither DVD's SATA connection was picked up under BOOT in Save & Exit TAB ??? WITH UEFI ENABLED

I have some sporadic USB 3.0 issues where it doesn't always recognize a few of my flash drives.  However, I have it narrowed down to one brand (Mushkin).  Mushkin uses a different controller on their USB Flash drives than most brands.  I think it might be something for the bios team to look into, though.  When I put in a bootable Flash drive (set as boot option 1, followed by Windows boot manager), the machine usually doesn't recognize the flash drive...then I have to reboot...enter bios setup...check my boot order...Flash drive is normally present...save and exit...then the machine boots into the flash drive...

Boot order on usb2 then switching to 3 would fix mine normally. Drivers can be a real pain.

Got a used >=8gb GPU that you'd like to sell? PM me

There are three more bioses available above 1.06 to try. I'd suggest trying all of them to see if one might resolve the issue you're having.

I will FLASH BIOS if I see a fix to my problem...
Ok but where are they and is there info regarding each bios fixes? Answer: below not a fix for my problem found 2 updates v1.09 & v1.10.

    • Update ME to 11.11.50.1436 for improving Intel ME security.
    • Improve PCIe compatibility
This BIOS is intended to fix reported issues with a potential Intel Management Engine vulnerability on X299 motherboards.

    hi there EVGAFAN04,

There shouldn't be any issues with UEFI mode and the USB 3.0 ports on your motherboard with any of the BIOS available. When the boot mode is set to legacy does it detect the USB 3.0 ports and your SATA devices?

yes, detects everything but from what I understand I'm losing options of the motherboard using Legacy.
