I ended up selling all 4 of my 1080 Ti cards for $950 each on ebay Friday. 2 are FE and 2 are black editions. Nothing special. Than bought 2 Titan Xp cards lol. Gonna hold the rest of the money for June when the new cards drop. I suggest people sell their cards before the market drops. Easy $$$

I mean if you're gaming that's definitely the move. If you're mining however, that wouldn't make sense as possible better driver support for GDDR5 in the future would only increase profit. Meanwhile, the new cards could be less efficient using electricity.

Got a used >=8gb GPU that you'd like to sell? PM me

I don't think I could let mine go for $950 a piece but the thought has crossed my mind to put em up on ebay with about $1100 reserve and see what happens. The problem is the only Titan cards I'm seeing available now are the Star Wars editions.

I'm kind of divided on the subject of pricing GPUs higher than MSRP, on the one hand, I don't think observing supply and demand, and it's results is always a bad thing, and given that this is a luxury item, unlike food/water/warm clothing/medicine/etc. no one is really going to suffer much from having to turn down their graphics settings for a bit longer because they can't afford current prices.

On the other hand.. I kind of just want to be nice I guess, and it's not any one buyers fault for the prices being so high.

Personally I wouldn't blame anyone one way or the other.

I had replaced my EVGA 1080 FTW with a 1080 Ti FTW3 Elite card a few months ago. Finally decided to throw the 1080 FTW up on an Ebay Auction little over a week ago, was quite pleased with the result.

Also put my EVGA 970 FTW up as well, got a little more than I thought I would for it.

These funds will be applied sometime later this year towards a new build.

Debated selling mine as well. He'll, I got a new build on the way it's tempting to flip the 1080 ti' s and getting the ugly star wars titans.

I did this, made lots of cash by moving from one 1080 to another.

I am really thinking of selling my GTX 980Ti and my Titan Xm, then wait for the 11xx series cards.
Might be the thing to do. I do not use the GPUs a lot anyway, I like to crunch CPU projects.

EDIT: One day, maybe, I will learn to type. Some how I doubt it.
I swear I hit the right keys but the computer changes them.....

My 1050ti SSC I bought from Newegg last year has more than doubled in value.  Who knew?
