Hi guys , I have an evga sc17 1070 gsync and the psu failed on the first day . Is the replacement psu on the site the same thing or there was some defect which was rectified . Is it better to buy same evga replacement or 19.5 v Dell 240w or 230w 19v hp. Mine is 19v 12.6A . Is it better to buy .5 higher v charger or 10w lower charger with same v.

Your PSU is under warranty so I would contact EVGA for a replacement.

is that delta 330w still going strong with your sc17 gtx1080?,.....and do you think that same lead would work well with my sc17 gtx 1070??...

Yes, it is working great, but the voltage is exactly the same as the EVGA one. The 1070 has a different voltage but it should be within the tolerance level and should work fine. Emphasis on should.....not sure if over the long-term the small extra voltage will be an issue or not.

what about the fact that the delta lead had the pin in the center of the plug, did that just fit the laptop power port with no issues and work like the pinless one does? or did you have to do anything to get it to sit in properly? probably a dumb q, but needed to be sure?

No issues with the pin, it just plugs in normally and works.

The extra center pin is a voltage feedback/sense pin. It appears to be optional.

Has anyone actually tried the Delta 330 on the SC17 1070 gsync yet? My EVGA supply is still working well, but i want a spare just in case. My roommates puppy put some teeth holes in the cable insulation.
Also, @Vistarshook can you provide a model number or pic of the sticker from your Delta 330w?

I bought the EVGA SC17 laptop 18 months ago and the power adapter has gone so unable to charge it. The purchase included a 2 year warranty so surely EVGA should supply a replacement ? I am waiting for a reply but need a lead quick as I use the laptop every day. Does anyone has a quick fix for this problem as I can't seem to buy one from the EVGA website or amazon? Any suggestions would be appreciated....Thanks

What part of the world are you in ? I'd call EVGA CS for a faster reply than email Contact Customer Service You should make sure to register the laptop & upload the purchase receipt first --------------------------------------- This is not the correct unit for your laptop?
