Hello,

I recently bought two S2716DG Monitors. GTX 980 FTW only has 1 DP port. S2716DG does not come with any DVI ports only DP and HDMI. How do I accomplish getting it connected via DP? Converter? I know replacing my 980 ftw would be the ideal choice but cant right now.

Please let me know.

would it not be helpful if you fully explain why   that would be better then guessing if your right or not  on a 30 buck cable   ?   the devils in the details ,right ? give the man a solid explanation .

Because of the extra bandwidth his monitor uses.

Just read this thread again. I actually posted the wrong info. Driving a displayport monitor from a hdmi video card output isn't possible as displayport uses different signaling standards than hdmi. The only solution would be to buy a new video card.
