I'm kind of sick of the counterparty wallet. Is there an alternative or is fldc proprietary to it for distribution?

Some people have had success with using an exchange address as their folding address.  You'll just miss out on all those extra tokens.

I honestly haven't really received any extra tokens or any that would justify paying the BTC to xfer it to the exchange. I received I think 30 of some sort of coin but its worth like $0.15.

or you can do like me and set a custom fee of 57 satoshi per byte and wait a few days for the transaction to get verified >. <

Mine direct to an exchange address.
Counterparty is a horrible performance total ripoff.

If there is one, it's hard to find that's for sure.

I agree with Chris.  There has been a massive influx of spam posts by people trying to get their Elite status.  If mods could please address this issue and do something, that would be awesome :)

Mods have addressed this issue in at least one "blatant" case I know about and reported.

In my experience the "extra tokens' like PepeCoin cost more to get converted to a useable coin than the extra coin was WORTH, due to the ripoff fees Counterparty charged.
IMO not worth the cost to mess with them.

well atleast counterparty has added the option to set your own fee rate. i have done this on my last two transactions and i set them to half the recommended amount. granted in doing so it took over 24 hours to get confirmed but atleast i wasnt gouged out of my transaction due to the fee.

Must have been after I stopped using them - and have they dropped THEIR FEES to a reasonable level at any point?
THOSE were the major killer, a lot more than their arbitrarily-high transaction fees.

Well it appears my FLDC transaction sending it from my CP wallet to Bittrex has resulted in a limbo.  Now my FLDC is stuck on bittrex awaiting confirmations for over a week.  Not sure if this was because I down graded the fee but I have gone lower in the past and it has transferred fine before.  Of course Bittrex is being helpful as usual by spamming support responses with the usual FAQ page links.  I would really hate to have to reset all my machines again for this to simply change the address.

This happens from time to time.  Sadly there is nothing that can be done.  There were issues with Polo as well, where they even took the wallet offline for a while.  It just sucks because the coin has dropped so much lately and it's sinking even further.  Might as well hold onto it and wait and see what March brings.

Yeah just sent January's earnings to bittrex and it's stuck in limbo as well.  Kinda makes you want to cry when you see what was worth $1600 back early Jan fall to just $300 or so LOL but thats crypto.

Well it appears Bittrex is playing games with FLDC.  I sent mine while the wallet was up and running and up to date ( I logged in and checked) and my deposit never made it to my account.  Hours later, Bittrex took the wallet offline for a few days.  Now my deposit that was made on Saturday while the wallet was up and running is sitting in PENDING, and it was last checked, yesterday.  I'm just a little angry.  Just a wee bit.

    Bittrex has long-standing issues,
They used to be minor, but the last few months they are starting to approach Poloniex levels.
Their level of support HAS reached the kind of "insanely bad" levels Poloniex was famed for last year.

Well I'm furious.  My coins are stuck in Limbo.  Pending deposit since Feb 05, last checked Feb 05, with 0 confirmations.  Meanwhile block explorer says it has 716 confirmations.  Bittrex is stating they are trying to stop people from manipulating the market, when they themselves are doing the manipulating by locking us out and preventing people from selling their own coins.  Now to wait for the support monkeys and see what happens, if anything.

Mine went through just fine. Do keep in mind though that you do not receive your deposit until they move funds from the deposit address to their main wallet. This transaction is also on the block chain and with fees spiking up/down like crazy now could have had a low fee attached to it and not getting confirmed.

It's already been confirmed on the blockchain over 700 times though.  So Bittrex just hasn't bothered to do anything with the transaction.  At this point I think I'll just move my stuff to Polo.  At least the haven't done anything funny with my transfers of FLDC in the past.

I am not talking about your wallet witdraw but the withdraw from your bittrex deposit address.

Yeah I have two transactions stuck in limbo.  One from Jan 21st and the other from the 3rd of Feb.  0/6 confirmations.  Have never had a problem until now.  It's making me pretty mad about it... and this is right after Coin base had my account locked out for over a month.  Missed the spike early Jan and everything due to it.  Now as Coin base fixed itself, Bittrex acts up.  Haven't had a happy start to 2018 and that's besides the market tank but seeing how we are still hovering around November's numbers I am happy with that for now.
