Not really as much as you would think. There was some flooding on the coast because the high tide and storm rolled in about the same time. Thank you.

I never heard of that term either, I call it a "snowstorm." It went farther West that they said it would at first, so we got 4-6in or so. Could of been worse. But its been so cold and getting colder. Highs of 2f and lows -8f heading our way burrrrr. Great folding at home and crunching BOINC weather.

It snowed here in Florida. People are out of control. Need to shut down the city and have people helicopter everyone to work. Us southerners do not know what this white stuff falling from the sky is.

Ended up with 12 inches of snow in my part of Brooklyn, not bad, but the strong winds made some much deeper drifts of 3' or more. That wind chill though.. ouch.

I think we got somewhere around 6" over in my part of Jersey, but I think the Jersey shore got around 12" or so.

Pretty much. Anything to make weather sound extreme and crazy. Have you ever watched the weather channel? They portray all weather as destructive planet ending catastrophes. It's so absurd.

we could be seeing the lowest temps here (for this winter) in the next few days -12 to -14 degrees C hope it brings a dump of snow
