if you're breaking free from the Apple ecosystem, MediaMonkey is a great alternative to itunes. It can organize audio, rid you of duplicate files, and act as an all-in-one media program.

Decent list of suggestions. I keep a pretty full panel of utilities, burn-in tests, memory tests, DDU, CCleaner, MalwareBytes, etc. Just before a new build I burn a CD-ROM of my most used utilities. The basics don't change much, nor the usage. Overnight memory testing before installing Windows. After installing Windows, full burn-in testing, etc.

I never really got into password managers to be honest, but of you have a good one or can vouch for one of the ones listed in the article, I may check some out.
Besides that I mostly agree aside from the anti-virus software; I frankly am not a big fan of the majority of them and sometimes just don't use one aside from windows defender.

I haven’t been using pass managers but now I see the value in them. Lately I have been forgetting passwords to small sites I only visit rarely

[Notepad++] - Better for plain text files than windows built in notepad.
[WinDirStat] - Useful for seeing what it taking up all the space on a drive.
[Icaros] - Shows the preview of the file like it would with a mp4 with many non-standard file types

And for my fellow Windows 7 users with multiple monitors.

[Dual Monitor] - Allows you to have task bars on every screen.

Iconoid! Never worry about a graphics driver or resolution change messing up your icons again! Just use the Positions tab to Save all your icons, and then Restore them whenever they mess up.
