Update:
I was not able to jump into the BIOS screen, I cycled power and would not hit F2 fast enough. .Turns out I was only putting the laptop to sleep.
So I pulled the power plug ... drained the battery.
Then plugged in powered up and sure enough I was able to boot into the bios. 
I updated my bios to 1.06 ... and my black screen issue has been completely resolved. I did not have to do any updates with Windows nor did I rebuild, merely updated the bios to the latest version.
 
Thanks again all for suggestions / help. 


On my SC15, I drained the battery and when turning it on, I hit the F2 button multiple times and the screen still stays black. I cant see the BIOS screen.

Hello people
I have this problem in 2019
im very frustrated 
At least I could download and install version 1.06 of the bios, but the problem continues, the screen turns black and does nothing more and restarts, sometimes it flickers and the image returns, I can not put much stress on the card, it reboots

There's no need to post in 3 different threads. Especially since, in those other 2 threads, you didn't include any useful information.

It sounds like you have more than a BIOS issue. It sounds like your problem is different than the problem these people had. It sounds like you have a hardware problem. Contact EVGA.

Last update: no more restart when i install bios 1.08 but all games crash, sometimes says Hardware device removed, or sometimes the screen blinks and the game close
i will try Windows 7

Yes .... It was indeed that, I did an RMA changed my motherboard and voila everythings works
