EVGA GeForce GTX 960 Miracast: Not Supported by Graphics driver:
Where can I get this Driver? NVIDIA Doesn't seem to provide it. My Current OS is Windows 10 Home 1709 Fall Creators Edition.

Note: I can Miracast to my TV but I do not see my Desktop Icons I am sure it has to be this Miracast: Not Supported by Graphics Driver Issue because my other Computer does on have this Issue.

I hope you can help on this Issue

If its working at all, I kind of doubt that the driver version is the problem.  Are you sure that the desktop isn't behaving like an extended desktop?  Extended desktops in Windows do not have icons by default.  You would have to duplicate instead of extend (if possible) or tweak the extended desktop to show icons (if possible).

I see a lot on this wifi card may not be right ??

http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-3317390/miracast-wont-work.html

https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/6wn6o8/gtx_1070_doesnt_support_miracast/?st=jb8k2hf4&sh=b6fadf01

may try like that last poster said and go back to a older driver that it may work under  [from link above ]
''installed the ones provided by my notebook manufacturer (version 369.22), and it worked''

''Miracast requires miracast capabile wifi card, only certian ones are miracast capabile''
'Nvidia cut support for miracast over a year ago, so any new drivers will not make it work. I rolled mine back to 350.12 (http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverresults.aspx/83819...), and after that, miracast worked flawlessly     ''

http://www.tomsguide.com/answers/id-3405305/drivers-miracast.html

there again may need a older driver to support it if not the wifi adaptor   [if your using one ?? ]

even Linux you got to have a supported adaptor  for it to work

maybe some extra help

http://www.thewindowsclub.com/set-up-use-miracast-windows-10

sure looks less and less a card issue  then a wifi issue

Nice Changing mode to Duplicate did work but still have that Crazy Issue in my DXDiag Info on Miracast: Not Supported by Graphics driver: From what I am Reading now NVIDIA Stopped Support this about a year ago.

like as this claims
''Updated 01/23/2017 04:01 PM''

http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3255/~/what-is-miracast%3Fwghat

thing is what I see has not even discuses anything on the graphics card   being capable or a driver for it

https://www.laptopmag.com/articles/turn-windows-10-pc-into-wirelss-display

you take any articles like that one    its hardware in general    so is his got a NVidia card ?? or AMD card ?? intel graphics ???    see.

''Miracast now comes built into some devices, Windows 10 is one of them. If your display device doesn’t have the Miracast support, a Miracast adapter can help you solve this problem. ''
https://www.drivereasy.com/knowledge/miracast-windows-10-solved/

for what I see now it seems to be more a flakily application  that may or may not work correctly   and need a supported device like wifi adaptors and monitors/ hdtv's

seems any graphics display vid card is fine  no one states any on that  cause it just what it does  display

I like this guys answer  [Dragos Triteanu ]

''I guess that this somehow confirms that the hardware is not an actual problem, and that the only problem resides within the 'Project' option in Windows 10. ''

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-win_continuum-winpc/miracast-not-supported-nvidia-says-yes-windows-10/77c1bbce-d9b6-4aad-a8c7-ec032052fd22?auth=1

maybe you got the wrong  malware service  [opp's I mean win-10 ]  installed that don't cover everything .

or maybe

if you use a intel CPU  may need to swap over to its graphics   instead of your NVidia or amd card

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005492/graphics-drivers.html

just seems funny to me with all the NVidia users today with new / latest cards  none of these tech mag's like pc world and all  say anything about it  not supported or to avoid  or anything  .

I my opinion if there was a issues with NVidia cards or its drivers that should be well stated  or warnings on that form them  in there  ''how to's ''

like this is from '' As of July 2017 ''   so they should know if NVidia dropped driver support or what ever  by now  and reported on that ??  you said dropped a year or so ago ???

''MY DXDiag Info saysMiracast: Not Supported by Graphics driver:''

I understand , but that's supported under the OS    then like was said if you got low end  win-10 its not included in it  but if you got say win-10 ultimate  or pro   it is included as supported  . just like how older wiNdows 7 and vista was  if you had home it was shorted   if you got pro it had more  then if you got ultimate  you got everything in the OS

''N” and “KN” editions of Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Pro are also available and include the same functionality as the standard editions, except that they do not include certain media related technologies (Windows Media Player, Camera, Music, Movies & TV) and does not include the Skype app''

this looked to have some interesting info in it
https://www.ghacks.net/2017/04/20/find-out-if-your-windows-pc-supports-miracast/

https://community.amd.com/thread/204875

https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/957762/difference-between-anniversary-and-regular-drivers-/

I don't and will never use  [never say never, right ??]   win-10  so ???  it seems like this is more a what you got from /into your copy of win- 10  ?   maybe you need that update

I got to admit this is a crazy load of crap to deal with for a program to work.   I think if me by now I would find something close to mirorcast   that works as expected and out of the box  ? then like I say with win -10 you do as Microsoft wants not as you do  maybe down to havening the correct version  of 10  ? about 90% of what I look up on this  don't even call out a gpu  as a issue  just everything else  like 10 or other non supported hardware

sorry I was no better help

good luck

p.s
I think this guy sum's it up
''so that it is still russian roulette: if it works, good, if not live with it.''

''So I went ahead and bought a chromecast, never had any problems after that. It works flawlessly everywhere, Windows, Linux, Android and can also stream video in the background instead of casting the entire screen.''
