I put my new Hybrid on my SC Black yesterday, but I've just reached the end of the slider when running stability tests. Under air it flaked out at about +700mhz (which was still +100mhz better than my SC2). Aside from Asus Tweak, which for some reason I can't download right now, does anyone know of any software that'll let me go past 1000mhz?

Memory is just like the GPU on your card. Silicon lottery to some extent. Some memory overclocks better than others.
The memory on your card is already at 11GHz, pushing it 1GHz further might be asking too much. If I remember correctly, the memory type\model\brand used here is already getting to the limit of clock speed it can do at 11GHz already. Plus the 1080Ti has oodles of memory bandwidth to begin with. Overclocking the memory here gives minimum gains and can reduce the amount of overclock on your GPU you can get and keep stability. Only time you would want maximum over clock on memory is in mining or applications where memory performance is needed over CPU\GPU performance.

That doesn't actually answer my question but thanks for the input.

lol +1000 =13ghz which is pretty impressive but not sure if there's a way to go past it other then maybe running the ftw elite bios

    It's stated as half.. so 5500mhz x2= 11k. +500 would equal 6000 x2 = 12k. +700 would be 6200mhz x 2 = 12.4k. Prob why it isint stable.

Sorry, the original post wasn't worded right - under air it flaked out at above 700mhz. Under water I've got it set at that as stable right now and it's passing all the required tests. :)

That's a good idea. I might look into that once I'm done messing around. I have now managed to download Asus Tweak so I'll see how it goes.

Based on the other cards I was expecting it to flake out around +900 but it hasn't. It's kept going with +100 on the core. It is unlikely I'll keep it at that for day to day but I'm 11 away from 4800 on Time Spy Extreme...

he says "I put my new Hybrid on my SC Black yesterday, but I've just reached the end of the slider when running stability tests" so he's stable at 1000+ with the hybrid cooler

Yeah, and therein lies the problem because Precision and Afterburner obviously account for that but Asus Tweak doesn't. So it says it goes beyond 1000 but that's because its base starts at 11000 and not 12000 like the others.

I might be flashing the Elite BIOS later then. Because being 8 away from 4800 is like an itch right in the middle of my back...
