Hi all,

Just ordered the EVGA GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 Hybrid Waterblock cooler for my current EVGA GTX 1080 Ti FTW3.

Just two questions.

1.Do the RGB light up on the back plate and logo if I install this?

I've been getting mixed reviews that the logo stays white, but I see the ones that you buy pre-installed with the VGA you can change the lights. Can't really find a definite answer.

2. Where should I mount the radiator?

  • Corsair 570x case

  • Currently running a corsair h100vi2 on top with 2 as an exhaust, 3 front for intake and 1 rear exhaust.

  • They are all HD120 Corsair RGB 120mm.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for confirming. Have you tried to mount with the 240mm Radiator in the front? or I guess they don't fit?

As in, above the 240MM rad on my pic? yeah wouldn't fit.

This is my 1070ti mounted exhaust too, both are working great, even in this tiny meshify c case :D

Do the lights change for your hybrid gtx? I'm assuming it's a 1080ti ftw3?

I can change only some of the LED's on the Hyrbid ftw 3 yes, but I don't, I leave it all stock as it is.

To my knowledge, the ones on the side "EVGA Hyrbid" and the "GPM" LED's below it, nothing on the backplate, at least I didn't see any in the settings.

Quick question, the stock fan on the AIO, is it a 4pin or 3pin?  I want to put some LL fans on instead

It has a 2 pin header that allows 3 pin connectors. My HD120 is a 4 pin.. Just wondering if I need to plug my fan in that one..

The picture looks like the fan is still connect to the GPU control, so just connect the 4pin to 2pin will work?  Then the fan will be at full speed all the time?  Or need get 4 to 3 adapter?  Wish they not save the $ on this just use a 4pin fan will be perfect :(

The 4 pin doesn't fit into the 2 pin header unfortunately.

Then will need adapter... I also saw some people say run all the fan to the commander pro and control it from there, but this mean it won't be controlling by the GPU temp, but if the stock fan is not PWM that means it don't matter?  Or the stock fan will not spin if it is idling?

Yeah, I've been looking for one but can't seem to find any. If you find one, please let me know.

Yeah, the stock fans that 570x comes with are all 3 pin. The SP120.

The only thing I can find is 4pin to 3pin, try amazon, there is a lot, I don't think anyone make a 4 to 2

I'm planning to get this one:
