Design
Basically, the Core i7-8700K design still apply similar 14nm manufacturing processeschip i7-7700K but better optimized computing performance per watt power consumption. This also reflects the development cycle a generation of Intel's new processor according to every 3 years is the EGYPTIAN POUND (process, architecture, optimization-cycle, architecture, optimization).

A further change of the multiplier is 8700K/the stream handle more than 50% compared with the previous generation chip Kaby Lake. This brings significant difference in good mining applications capable of handling multithreading. Such tool with R15Cinebench score underneath, score the test of higher 8700K multithreading is about 30% higher than the 7700K.
Besides, Coffee Lake 8700K also support Intel Optane Memory technology, combining the advantages between RAM and HDD. This was viewed as the solution for users who need quick data retrieval speeds while still ensuring the ability to store a large amount of data.

However things are not good with these guys is chip design Coffee Lake using socket LGA1151 v2. But there are the same number of pins Kaby Lake and platforms similar Skylake but no backwards compatibility. So chip Core i can't run 8 generations on Intel 200 series and the same old processor also cannot be used with circuit boards Coffee Lake.
