New Features
Due to popular demand, the NV Tray has been added back in this release.
Added support for the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti.
Added support for OpenGL 4.61
Added NVIDIA GameStream support for HDR under Windows 10
Added Fast Sync support for SLI

Implemented improved behavior for full-screen Vulkan swapchains using VK_KHR_win32_surface.
This optimization will cause more events that trigger an out-of-date swapchain, such as when entering or leaving full-screen mode (typically by pressing Alt+tab). Applications that do not properly respond to the
VK_ERROR_OUT_OF_DATE_KHR return code may not function properly when these events occur. See the WSI Swapchain section of the Vulkan specification.

Added support for the DirectX Intermediate Language (DXIL)

Includes full support for DirectX 12 Shader Model 6.0, features such as Wavemath, and the DirectX Shader Compiler.
Supported only on NVIDIA Kepler and later GPUs.

Application SLI Profiles
Added or updated the following SLI profiles:
Escape From Tarkov
EVE Valkyrie - Warzone
Lawbreakers
Middle-Earth: Shadow of War
Snake Pass
Star Wars: Battlefront II (2017)

I find it funny people wanted the system tray icon back. It didn't bother me at all to just right click on the desktop

Would like to know if these are actually any good. The 388.43 are working pretty good for me, I would hate to mess that up by playing with new drivers. Especially, with some of Nvidia's recent driver releases...

No reason to update every time unless you see something in the change notes that applies to you.

I believe nvidia is now locking out older gpu drivers then 387.xx if on the latest windows 10 update. if you are id probably go to this one or 388.43 as they are pretty much the same but for 388.59 has titan v support added in

Quick note: These latest drivers (388.59) are very good too! (Never tried 388.43), but 388.31 was good.

Played quite a lot of the new Wolfstein game, and others with newest drivers. Not one problem. Slightly higher 3DM Extreme  and Time spy scores too.

    1. Taichi z370. i7 8086k @ 5,2GHz Stable.
    16GB G.Skill Trident Z @ 3,000MHz.
EVGA GTX 1080ti  FTW3. Acer XB270HU IPS 1440p 144Hz Refresh with G-Sync. PSU Corsair AX850. Cloud two cans, and Creative T20 stereo. Realtek HD on board sound.

Love this driver all my worries are resolved
    Drivers 385.69, 388.10 & 388.13 were major no go's for me.
It seems that 388.31 and later fixed the black screen issue I kept getting, I use Win7Po x64 UK + SP1 btw, for the ones wondering.
388.59 WHQL is a cure to that terror thankfully

    Nevermind what I said

Ha Ha, funny! So just to be totally clear, you like 388.59, but it doesn't solve all of your terrors. About right?
