Okay, i have had this gpu for a while now and I was looking over some of my old overclocks and I noticed a huge change from what it was clocked when I first got it to what it does now. I'm not too knowledgeable about overclocking and i heard the only way you can really damage a gpu is if you overvolt your gpu so I haven't ever turned up my voltage, just turned up memory clock and base clock by a small margin a long time ago and I haven't messed with it till now. Now looking up my overclock and what this GPU is supposed to be clocked at by default I'm finding it not adding up. The Specs say memory clock should be at 7010 mhz but i'm stuck at 3550. Can anyone give me advice on getting it to the memory clock it should be? oddly enough my gpu clock is higher then spec but again I overclocked it a tad.

GDDR5 = DDR.

3550 x 2 = 7100.

why is it multiplied by 2? sorry if this sounds stupid but i honestly have forgotten all i knew about overclocking from back in early 2016 so i don't understand exactly. is it like overclocking two memory modules or something separately 3550 which adds up to 7100?

The memory modules are DDR. DDR = Double Data Rate. The value you see inside overclocking apps will need to be multiplied by two to get the true value.

ohhhh, thank you very much for telling me about that. i was afraid that it was stuck underclocked like one of my friends gpu was for awhile. He was telling me to uninstall drivers to fix but if it's already overclocked to what it should be then i just want to leave it at that.
