I own a EVGA TORQ X5 gaming mouse for some time now and I had never a problem with it.
Here comes something very strange!
I changed this weekend my CPU, MB and RAM. From a 3770K to a 8700K and a Asus Hero. Windows was not new installed and everything works very fine except of the mouse.
Bios Update and driver install from the Asus Website for my Mainboard was all done.
 
I have big delays on the mouse, when I for example move my Mouse Pointer in my Browser Bookmarks the selection during Mouse over is very delayed. Also in Games I fell this Lags. This was before the Hardware change not like this!
What I did:
- Changed the USB Port. Used USB2 and USB3 Ports.
- Uninstalled the EVGA Software for the Mouse and reboot.
- installed again the EVGA Software and set all to default.
 
Nothing helps.
 
If I use a other cheap Microsoft Mouse (i tried 2 of them) all Lags are gone and everything is normal. As soon I Plug the EVGA Mouse the Lags are back.
 
Do You have any idea why?

    Have you tried to test the mouse on another computer?
