Just tried out the CPU-Z benchmark and stress test.  5960x reference shows 3518, and mine comes up 5068.  Could others run their CPU's and see what they say?  I am at bus clock 100.1, 8 cores at 47x100 and uncore at 46x100.

I am working to lower my voltage as far as possible.  Sitting at 1.335 on a 4.7ghz overclock so far.

Minor change - bclk 100.5:

Older versions of CPU-z scores were much higher, but with latest 1.81 version of the software my scores are 2451 on my 4790K@4.4Ghz @1.25v. My work computer consisting of an FX-8350 @4.0Ghz scores a 1576(not sure voltage), Spare computer in house with FX-6100@4Ghz scores a 1040, The wife's computer running a 3570K@4.2Ghz scores a 1737.
p.s. Scarlet you need to update your modsrigs

    Mine.
This show me... If I upgrade to i7-5960X I need to OC him pretty much to reach single threaded performance of mine CPU.
But mine is not default it's 4.2/4.0GHz Cache.

But i7-6950X is completely different story. He is default as i7-5960X overclocked and default single threaded performance not far of mine OC.

Damn, guys common you should upgrade to X299 and sell to poor guys as me your i7-6950X.
We can say what we want, crippled PCI-E lanes, thermal paste,... but it's fact that X299 is now far better choice than X99.
X99 is excellent for people who can't afford CPU and high end Mobo.
Even 7820X with 28 PCI-E lanes is not bad as i7-5820K. Because chipset have 24 PCI-E lanes and they could install 2-3 M.2 connected to Chipset and dedicate sound card. But for X99 40 PCI-E lanes on CPU are necessary.
After installatation 2-3 M.2 i7-7820X still have more PCI-E lanes than i7-5960X if someone take his lanes and PCI-E slots to install more devices.

I can't wait to upgrade my platform to beat damn Ryzen 7.
That will be my happy day, when Cinebench show better result from OC Ryzen 1800X.
For now he can't catch me in single threaded performance, when number of cores become same,
situation will be change even on multi field.

    7600k @ 5GHz (default boost is 4,2GHz so +19%)

    Single thread: +17% vs stock
    Multi-thread: +20% vs stock
