My system currently uses a EVGA 650 G3 PSU, all cables routed neatly.
I took advantage of the EVGA weekend sale price for a EVGA 1000 G3.
The 1000 G3 comes with cables that includes capacitors. I do not believe the 650 G3 cables have those capacitors installed.
Question 1 - should I remove the 650 G3 cables and replace with the 1000 G3 cables when I swap out the PSU? (please elaborate if possible)
Question 2 - what benefits come with the capacitors installed in the cables?
Question 3 - what damage may occur if the 650 G3 cables are used with the 1000 G3 PSU?
Thank you
