After browsing the EVGA forums I think I am leaning towards another classified k, plan is to go 4k 144hz. I have been diving in to high fps 1440p and feel I want more. This is the build I am thinking:

Intel i7 8700k
EVGA z370 Classified K
EVGA clc 280mm
G.Skill Trident Z 4x4GB DDR4-3866
EVGA SuperNova 850W T2 Titanium
Maybe the EVGA case
EVGA Volta or
edit* EVGA 1080 ti SLI
ASUS or ACER 4k 144hz*

edit* Might hold of on 4k a bit longer and go for 165 fps 1440p cap til next gen ti (thanks replies)

After playing thousands of hours on z170 and pascal I believe this new build can do 4k 70-90 gameplay <3 Will begin build in 2018

need more EVGA posters!

Can't wait to pickup a PG27UQ & 2 volta gpu's myself. Your 6700k will be fine for 4k since 4k is gpu bound.

You should rather wait if Volta even reaches the Desktop - according to several sources the next GPU generation is called Ampere and is based on Pascal.

Sajin - my older bro needs a pc and I want to catch up a bit with some higher clocks, also have a chance to support EVGA and become an ELITE member.

Tuxedo. - Thanks for that info, maybe I waill go for EVGA SLI 1080 ti then and hold off on 4k til its more mainstream along with the new ti.

I looked today when GTX1080Ti is launched, before 10 months almost?
Is it late for upgrade. If someone upgrade GPU every 3 years, is it better to wait and upgrade immediately when nice 250W new Volta show up or to go with GTX1080Ti.
I know Volta will be probably as GTX1080Ti SLI or at least as GTX1080 SLI.

I'm very curios what will happen with Z370 chipset and Intel 9th generation.
If Intel allow to people install Intel i7 8C/12T 12MB Cache on Z370 chipset, Z370 Micro, that would be insane PC special if price of that model stay in line with i7-8700K.
But i7-8700K is great, on default settings 3.7GHz is as my i7-5820K on 4.2GHz, and he go up to 5.0GHz.
    Fantastic build for Caselabs BH8.

Today if someone want to use American companies to build PC what could choose...
EVGA (California) for GPU, PSU, Mobo, Caselabs for case (California) CORSAIR (again California ) for Memory and M.2 and Primochill (New Mexico) for cooling.
Did I made some mistake, maybe some other options are available.
