No way I am firing up the socket F quad. That is a furnace all by it self.
I had to swap fans on the Opteron 6180, with the stock server type heat sinks with fans sitting on top, they we running a bit warm.
Warm enough to go , beep beep beep beep.
Sat some better fans on them and it is no longer beeping, for now anyway.
Guess Ill get a couple cheap, real HSF and throw on them.

Yeah me too, the Musky mod. lol it worked good!!! I am going to use some cheaper. Been using these on my dual e5-2670 systems and they seem to work ok. Well, we finished 18th, which is not too bad considering we were down to 24th a few days ago. I think we could have done much better if there wasn't so much overlap with other challenges. Thanks to everybody that helped!
